Welcome to Math-Lab

Our institution has a functional Mathematics Laboratory which acts as a resource-cum-activity centre. The Mathematics Laboratory provides an opportunity for the trainees to discover mathematics through the principle of learning by doing. Trainee-teachers are encouraged to develop the basic ideas of foundations of mathematics and the general concept of space, as well as interactions between physics, mathematics and philosophy. This Laboratory contains various teaching aids of mathematics which the trainees use to practice simulated lessons. The Laboratory also displays charts and models developed by trainees themselves in order to encourage their effort. The Laboratorythrough providing practical learning experiences also helps to develop the concept of interdisciplinary learning as learners understand how one discipline spills over to another and gets interrelated. The Laboratory also promotes scope of self-study and desires to develop research orientation among trainees.
