Our ICT laboratory was recently renovated and upgraded to facilitate our learners. We have about 26 desktop sets in the laboratory with strong LAN connection. There is an Over Head Projector and whiteboard for the teacher educators to instruct the learners. The laboratory is useful for B.Ed. trainee teachers as they get to learn the digital know how and technicalities of computers and use of ICT in education. It helps trainee teachers to become competent and confident users of technology and use the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the teaching learning process. The trainees also use the laboratory for making various practicum starting from simple powerpoint to more complex ones (BLOG preparation). Our institution also uses this laboratory to organise special classes on ICT.
